Imprints
Our four imprints are quite distinct from each other, reflecting their markets and the tastes of the publishers who guide them. At the same time, they draw strength from each other through the sharing of resources, ideas, marketing opportunities, and cross-genre product development. Here we offer only a hint of each imprint’s focus and flair. We invite you to explore the distinct flair of each imprint by visiting their web sites.
Bowler Hat Comics
Bowler Hat Comics are for readers who crave the unique creative and exploratory possibilities offered only through sequential art. At Bowler Hat, we seek to promote creativity and exploration in sequential art and illustrated prose.
Our comics, graphic novels, and illustrated novels push the qualty and acceptance of comics to new standards, and by being at once both sophisticated and whimsical, they further the artistic and literary merits of comic book storytelling.
Moreover, at Bowler Hat we never lose sight of the fact that comic is at the heart of comic book, and the reason for reading, collecting, creating, and publishing comics is because it’s fun!
Chain Reaction Press
Chain Reaction is undergoing a major redevelopment and will be back, complete with a new mission and look, before the end of 2008. Until then, submissions are not being accepted. Current submissions already received have been returned. (Please contact Cameron Marschall if you have submitted a manuscript and not received a reply. info@chainreactionpress.com)
Dame Rocket Press

Dame Rocket Press is named after the dame’s rocket flower—a cultivated, nocturnally fragrant bloom that outgrew its gardens for the wild. Eclectic and passionate, the press publishes works that emphasize pioneers in all walks of life and time. From nonfiction biographies to children’s books and women’s stories, it seeks to share the voice of lived and learned experience—a connection among readers and nature alike.
Three Muses Press

Three Muses publishes literary fiction—works in translation, short story collections, and novels. We value strong voices and diverse themes, works that promote reflection, add beauty to our existence, expand our horizons, and relate to real lives in cultures both familiar and unfamiliar. Under those parameters, Three Muses also publishes small-format art books, creative nonfiction, and memoir.
